Description XSAT is about to transfer part of its operations to Miami. We are recruiting a part time technical support representative (4 to 6 hours a day) and . The person recruited will be working from home until we complete the transfer to Miami.

X SAT (www.XSATGLOBAL.com) is a USA based company registered in Peachtree City (Atlanta), Georgia. Besides Atlanta, X SAT is affiliated with XSAT FZE in Dubai and XSAT India.

X SAT's mission is to provide affordable telecommunication services to companies and individuals located and operating in remote areas. Main activities include provisioning of Mobile Satellite Services (Thuraya/Inmarsat/Iridium/GlobalStar).

Profile:

*Languages: Perfect command or English and some knowledge of Spanish

*Good knowledge of MS office, Internet research, Windows OS and MAC OSX

*Good general IT knowledge, basic understanding of IP protocols and networking

*2 years experience in customer support or sales (prefered not compulsory)

*some knowledge in graphics design preferred


Tasks:

*Help in solving Level 1 and Level 2 technical issues using our online ticketing system (Parature)

*Liaise with suppliers' technical support

*Update firmware and test equipment

*Management of e-commerce websites updates (not involved in sales)

*Assist in managing online and off line marketing

Cell Phone and computer equipment provided

Training: done in Miami

Start date: July/August 2011
