well, to be sincere it was just 5 mins ago that i discovered this site. I'm active @ other forums and I wanted to see if there were more Miami forums around the web. Should I done this 1 years ago, I would have registered with no hesitation whatsoever.

Anyways, believe it or not, I'm a Francophille. Though I don't force myself to speak French or even learn it, I find it to be the most beautiful language ever.

For the past 4 years I've been watching French movies - Zazie Dans Le Metro is my favorite film so far. Adding to it, as a musician, I have to admit that I'm very French influenced, both in music (Asylum Party, Little Nemo, Alcest, Noir Desir, Amesoeurs,etc) and visual arts. I also like read facts about France; I'm not much interested in history, but I'll make sure to cover that topic eventually.

To be sincere, I can't believe there was a French Miami forum. I'm literally shocked.

talking about movies it's hard to believe you didn't find anything more interresting closer to us than Louis Malle's 1960' Zazie...
Form where are you from ? Florida ?
this french froum about Miami exists for several reasons including the fact that there are (as they say) around 30,000 frenchies living in South Florida, and almost the 10 times more in France who wish to join us...
We are trying to answer questions (even if most of the time they are all the same, like "how can I get a job ? how can have a work permit etc.)

30,000 French in MIAMI, lol wow, that goes beyond of what I had in mind. I thought you were around 300 to 1000 tops.
Anywuzzzz, I'll try to post in French, though I wouldn't know where to begin Maybe I'll use google translator, eventually I might catch up and learn some basic sentence structure and grammar.

what about write in english and french (ok it'll take double time), but that way, you would be sure, we understand, and then step by step you would become better and better.
It's very nice to have an english spoken person.
Didn't you see as well on TV "the valet", with Gad Elmaleh, a very nice one, and it use to be on star movie or sundance (don't remember), recommend it to you.
Anyway, where do you live and what are you doing ???

Oh about that,

I live in the kendall area, the west side (20 miles away from all the excitement), and I usually play music (not live) most of the time. It's mostly for self-recording purposes. I'm into anime and manga also, and been working on a manga script with a friend.

Those are my hobbies so far...
